Women In The Ministry
According To Dispensationalism

Dispensationalism, in part, is the doctrine that the time period from Adam to the end of the world is divided into seven distinct periods of time. In each of these divisions of time, it is alleged God had a different plan of salvation. In each of these sections, there is an alleged Ministry representing God to those who lived in that era. For many reasons, I do not accept this doctrine. However, many of my Brethren believe in it. Thus, using their idea of Dispensationalism, I aim to prove only that there was not one Godly woman preacher in any of these dispensations, divisions of time, or eras.

From Adam to the casting out of Eden: This is often referred to as the dispensation of Innocence. In this dispensation, it is easy to learn that Eve became a messenger, a teacher, and an instructor. The serpent was her teacher. Eve received her ordination and instructions from the serpent. The serpent taught Eve a lie, and Eve attempted to teach the lie to Adam. But he was not deceived (1Tim. 2:14) (she did not teach him sex). Because Eve believed a lie and attempted to persuade Adam that good would come of it, she was cursed. Adam was told to rule over the woman, so the serpent could never deceive her like this again. A woman on her own becomes the serpent's workshop. Thus, part of the sins of the first woman, was making herself a messenger. A messenger of false doctrine that invited death and a curse upon her children. This dispensation ends with judgment upon a woman messenger who was not sent by God.

From Adam after Eden to Noah: This is referred to as the dispensation of conscience. Meaning, that everyone judged what they did WAS right by their own measure of beliefs, rather than subscribe to established standards, embodied in revealed Divine requirements. They guided themselves by their lust, or their love for God. During this time, only the names of four females are entered into the official and certified records of Biblical history. They are Eve, Adah, Zillah, and Naamah. Eve never took up trying to be a teacher or message deliverer after her rebuke in Eden. Adah and Zillah were the wives of Lamech, son of Enoch, son of Cain. Naamah was daughter of Zillah by Lamech. Polygamy was started by this Lamech, grandson of Cain. The entire seedline of Cain died in the flood. Therefore, there are no other females documented by name in the Bible, for this alleged dispensation, who could have been identified as women preachers.

This era of time had no official Ministry other than that of the Father of the family. As Patriarch, it was his duty to provide the Spiritual leadership of the home and clan. He was the instructor and the Minister. He served alone in this capacity. At the end of the age, when wickedness came to a full, God called Noah to preach to the last generation. There were no women preachers during this dispensation, and none helped Noah. "As it WAS in the days of Noah" would imply not only that the belief that each person could decide by their own measure what they considered holy or sin, leading to gross wickedness, but that out of this morass of Charismaticism and free-wheeling generation, God would raise up Preachers who were MEN to deliver the last day message of the age.

From the Flood to Abraham: This section of time is called the dispensation of human government. It is taken from the idea that civil governments begin at Babel. This is the era of time that Babel was built and the Gnostic religion was founded. The official government organization of women priestess was founded upon the idea that Eve was the first teacher and instructor. At the destruction of Babel, this mystery kingdom religion was scattered all over the world. Women priestess sprang up every where as sacred devotees to the idols which represented Nimrod, Semiramis, and Tammuz (male, female and the emanation: the Jewish trinity of Kether, Hokohma, and Binah, from which the idea of the trinity was borrowed by Athanasius and adopted by Catholics, and Protestants). All manner of sexual apostasy was practiced by these women at secret rituals. Abraham was called OUT of this evil cess-pool and started a journey of Faith, looking for a city that had foundations whose builder and maker was God. What Nimrod built was not an attraction to Abraham!

The only women preachers of this era were those of mystery Babylon. So great was the evil and apostasy, that God likened the last generation religious movement upon the earth after it. This is a graphic picture, that the female principal will rise to rule over the spiritual affairs of mankind. As God called Abraham out of Ur, so God calls all his people out of mystery Babylon that has risen up in these last days. As there were no women of God acting as preachers in the dispensation called human government, so there are no women preachers in the last era of mystery Babylon the Great, the last world government. The only woman ministry will be that of the false church. No Apostolic woman will hunger to be a woman preacher and pattern herself after this mysterious Babylon.

From Abraham to the Law: This era is called the dispensation of promise, there is no woman preacher during this time at all. Abraham becomes the symbol of faith. He becomes the image of a Prophet. He acts as the Patriarchal High-Priest for his family. God visits with Abraham. It was during this era that God found the heart of a man called Zedek. He was king of Salem (which means King of Peace). The word "king" being taken from the ancient word "Melchi", He is affectionately called Melchi-Zedek, i.e. King Zedek. The name "Zedek" is from the ancient Hebrew word that is translated "Right or Righteous". Therefore he is called King of Righteousness. "Zedek" can also be translated to mean "Holy or Holiness" for that which is "Right or Righteous" is so because of Holiness. Therefore, he can also be called the "King of Holiness!" For this reason, the twenty four elders, four beasts, and all the host of heaven bow before the second Melchizedek's throne and cry HOLY.

There is not a single woman preacher in this alleged dispensation. There were no women preachers in the Melchizedek Order. The life of Sarah became a pattern for all women of faith during this era. In Sarah there is no resemblance of a woman preacher. This dispensation closes with no woman preacher representing God.

From the Law until Messiah: This era of time is called the dispensation of the Law. It starts out with God calling Moses and ends with the crucifixion of Jesus Messiah. Because some of the male leadership of the family refused to secure the wife and children through his patriarchal duty, of being their representative High-Priest before God, God instituted the Levitical Aaronic Priesthood. This was in fact the beginning of a substitutionary system of sacrifice and Priesthood. No person alive: male, female, or child, would any longer be trapped and damned in life, owing to a backslid father or husband who refused to live Godly and perform his Patriarchal duty. God ordained that the Tabernacle and the Priesthood become the official substitutionary headquarters for sacrifice and priesthood. God removed from the individual man, the authority to judge good or evil by his own measure of beliefs, and to act as saviour and mediator on behalf of his family. Abraham's seed was made into one nation: male and female, bond and free, rich and poor, Jew or proselyte. But out of this oneness, God raised up a male only Priesthood. There were no women Priestess allowed under the Law. This dispensation ends with no women preachers officiating in the Tabernacle or Temple and John the Baptist being killed. It closes with the Priesthood of Jesus Messiah and his anointing and ordination of twelve Apostles.

From Messiah to the present: This alleged dispensation is referred to as the age of Grace. Sinners are cautioned not to sin their day of Grace away. It is also called the Church-age. It is the ONE last age to which all the others are alleged to have born testimony. It begins with the coming of God as the Messiah of Israel in the Person of Jesus Messiah, and ends "after the tribulation" of those days mentioned in Matthew chapter twenty four. It is the beginning of the New Testament Covenant replacing the Old Testament Covenant. It is the fulfillment of Abraham's Covenant through the seed of Jesus Messiah. All those therefore outside of Messiah (including unsaved Jews), are excluded from all the promises of Abraham. The Church replaced Israel as the Chosen People of God. The Church was built upon the twelve Apostles and Jesus Messiah being the chief Cornerstone. From beginning to end, there are no women preachers ordained to be a part of its Ministry to the world. There are no women preachers any where in the New Testament.

Summary: Age of Innocence, one woman preacher who quit after being rebuked by God. Age of Conscience, no women preachers. Age of Human Government, no women preachers. Age of Promise, no women preachers. Age of Law, no women preachers. Age of Grace, no women preachers. Not a single woman was called to be a preacher or Priest in any of the alleged dispensations. This great cloud of witness covers a period of time of nearly 6,000 years. Surely, if God wanted women preachers, he had ample time to demonstrate it and six dispensations in which to use them. It was not done. Therefore, the true Apostolic Woman will let the testimony of the ages speak to her peaceful and beautiful heart.
