Light To The Nations
The Wheat And The Chaff
By Pastor G. Reckart
Who are the wheat and who are the chaff?
Some may not like this study but the Word of God supports it.
"I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather the wheat into the garner; but he will burn the chaff with unquenchable fire" (Matt 3:11-12).
"John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire: Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and will gather the wheat into his garner; but the chaff he will burn with fire unquenchable" (Luke 3:16).
The chaff are the ungodly:
PSA 1:4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
The wheat are the seed of the Kingdom:
MAT 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
First and foremost, it must be understood that the Messiah in his initial role as the seed of David and the heir of that kingdom has nothing to do with Gentiles. The qualifying factors of the Messiah are Jewish alone.
1.) Messiah must be the one whom Moses prophesied would come after him (Deut 18:15; Acts 3:22).
2.) Messiah would come from the tribe of Judah as prophesied by Jacob (Genesis 49:10);
"And the sceptre would not depart or cease from the tribe of Judah and Israel until Shiloh came."
Now "Shiloh" is a Hebrew word or name that means "tranquil or peace." This implies that he who would bear the last sceptre of the tribe of Judah would usher in for Israel "peace" that no one else could or would bring prior to his arrival. The Prophet Isaiah at 9:6 saw this very event and called the Messiah the "Prince of Peace" or the "Prince of Shiloh." The "peace" Messiah would bring to Israel was between God and man. While Israel wants peace, it wanted it with neighbors and nations, and when achieved went straight into sin and wickedness, forsook the house of God, worshiped idols, and sacrificed children to Moloch. The "peace" they wanted was the tranquil they could have as they practiced their sins and wickedness unafraid of being attacked and or in fear of loss of this freedom. Israel lost the revelation of the supernatural "peace" that David sang about so beautifully and magnified as a sweet relationship with God.
While Jerusalem was named the city of peace, representing the loving relationship between God and Israel, this city became dedicated to the abomination of desolation. From the last time of the visible presence of God in the Tabernacle/Temple until now it has been approximately 2,600 years. Only when Messiah came to Jerusalem and went into the Temple was the visible presence of God manifest. The Messiah had arrived, who would receive the "peace" he came to bring? Who would allow Messiah to bring reconciliation between the people of Israel and their God? We now know that the wheat would welcome the "peace" but the chaff would not.
It has been the erroneous theory of most Jews that the "peace" Messiah would bring was peace with neighbors and nations. How wrong and blind they were and still are. As a people they are still not united in the desire for peace with God. If they were, they would see from the destruction of Jerusalem in 70AD that God did not take their crucifixion of the Messiah as a flattering celebration. Israel has had no peace and shall not until they repent and receive by faith Jesus as the Messiah. How sad and how grieving Israel has made God for 2,000 years over their hate of the Jesus the son of David as their Messiah. The chaff did not receive the Messiah. They were not ready for his tidings of peace from God. When will any of the people of Israel be redeemed? When for one day they quit their wickedness and hate and receive Jesus the Messiah. Shall they forever reject the tidings of "peace " he brought them? Messiah came to bring tidings of "peace" between God and Israel and subsequently between God and all mankind. And to the house of Israel this peace is sent:
"The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ" (ACT 10:36).
"And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh" (EPH 2:17).
"And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven" (COL 1:20).
"Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all" (2Thes 3:15).
"And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord" (Luke 2:10-11).
Messiah was to bring this peace. The chaff did not want his peace. When it got down to a final decision the Jewish leaders and the multitude, the chaff cried: "WE HAVE NO KING BUT CAESAR" (John 19:15). And thus damned to never have peace except what Caesar and Rome would afford them. And they want to blame God, Gentiles, and Christians for 2000 years of suffering when they chose the enemy and denied their Messiah? Let the chaff know that for them there is no peace and soon comes the FIRE!
"And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire" (Rev 20:15).
This book is called "THE LAMBS BOOK OF LIFE" in Revelation 21:27!
Ok, Jews, house of Israel, to you is this message sent! "Repent, and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Messiah, for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost" (Acts 2:38). If you reject this message you will be the chaff and you will damn yourself unworthy of the "peace" of Messiah.
Moses said that anyone who would not hear that "Prophet" would be destroyed from among the people. Who will be destroyed? The chaff. What will remain? The wheat! Who was this message to? It was to Israel. To whom was John the Baptist preaching about the wheat and the chaff? It was to the house of Israel. Who was threatened by his preaching? Jews! It is absolutely false to assume the chaff to be burned were anyone but they whom John perceived rejected his preaching and especially those who would reject the very Messiah whose shoes he confessed he was not worthy to bear.
Ok, among Israel there will be wheat and chaff. What does the wheat signify and what does the chaff signify?
PSA 1:4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
The chaff are the ungodly. Therefore the wheat are the Godly!
What did the prophet Isaiah see of Israel when this was shown to him?
"Esaias also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved (Rom 9:27).
Now some ignorantly think that all of Israel as to number will be saved. That is false! All of Israel that is in the remnant will be saved! What do we have here? We have a vivid description of the ungodly who are not saved and therefore are the chaff and the Godly who are saved and therefore are the wheat.
Now, let's examine another point that John the Baptist preached. A point that cuts hard across the grain of dispensationalist and their pre-tribulation heresies. And I speak to the theory that the chaff will be restored and called the Godly and they will be saved by restored Pharisee Rabbis, a rebuilt Pharisee controlled temple, and by Pharisee offered red heifers and animal sacrifices.
Yes, they do not call themselves Pharisees any longer. They now call themselves Talmudic or Kabbalistic and these come in three brands: Orthodox, Conservative, and Reformed. Whatever the pedigree, they remain the chaff so long as they reject Jesus the Messiah and they are not in the number of the remnant that will be saved. Anyone who thinks God is going to favor this chaff group, restore them to their first century status, and allow them to be saved apart from Messiah, needs a check up for brain waves.
What did John the Baptist mean when he said:
"Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor" (Luke 3:16)?
Ok, this is the one that the chaff and the stubble will not like. But the wheat can do the Messianic dance!
The wheat, the chaff, and the stubble were all on the threshingfloor of Ornan (1Chron 21:22-26). The stubble said to the chaff this is my place, it is mine, it is for me. The chaff replied the same words back to the stubble: no, this is my place, this is mine, it belongs to me. The wheat did not get involved in the argument. After many years of the chaff and the stubble arguing about who the threshingfloor of Araunah (2Sam 24:25) belong to, the time came that the chaff said unto the wheat: why do you not join me and help me claim this place for us? The stubble not wanting to be outdone ask the wheat also for support. Join me said the stubble and this place will belongs to us. The wheat refused to join with the chaff or the stubble. Criticizing the wheat, the chaff and the stubble said: why will you not agree with one of us? Tell us, who do you think this threshingfloor belongs to? And the wheat replied: When the owner comes, whose fan is in his hand, then he will show who it belongs to (an old messianic parable rewritten by Cohen G. Reckart)!
Ready? Are you ready for the truth? Can you receive the truth? Do you have a heart for truth? Will believe John the Baptist? Do you want a revelation? Are you ready to accept something the chaff and the stubble rejected? Well, we will see!
When John the Baptist prophesied that the Messiah would come with a fan and throughly purge his floor, he was speaking expressly about Mount Moriah and the Temple mount. David personally purchased this threshingfloor for a place to build an altar. This piece of real estate was in the area of the tribe of Judah, and as all lands owned by a tribal family it could never leave the ownership of the original patent owner. The threshingfloor was owned by a Gentile and when David purchased it, it became thence afterward the exclusive property of the house of David. Ownership remained in that lineage and although it might be sold, rented, or leased, it had to return to the ownership of the surviving heir at the year of jubilee. There is no record that David deeded the threshingfloor to Israel as a whole, or in anyway donated it to the nation for its exclusive use which in some way precluded his heirs from ownership. Mount Moriah was purchased by David and remained in the ownership of that regal royalty all the way up to the world-shaking event in Bethlehem and the birth of the Messiah. Something that Israel and Jews have covered up, denied, and still hate to see mentioned or written about, is that Jesus of the seed of David was the heir and that mountain top WAS HIS! As far as I know, I am the only Minister of the Gospel who has preached this message since the days of the Apostles. Am I needing validation from the Jews? Nope! Do I seek approval from my peers that this is doctrinally accurate? Nope! Do I care what anyone says about or against me because of this study? Absolutely not! It is incontrovertable! Even if the greatest baal-shems of our day do a holy-roller dance and chant Kabbalah until the cows come home (red heifer), use the Iscarri manuel from ancient Masada on how to get rid of Messianic pest, pull out their cankered scrolls, and call it all of this false! This will stand when the world is on fire!
"Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge HIS floor" (Luke 3:16)?
You will never change this word of God Mr. & Mrs. Chaff, Mr. & Mrs. Stubble. You see the owner has come! And he will show whose threshingfloor this is! And he will throughly "PURGE HIS FLOOR"!
When Messiah came he would bring his fan, go right up to his real estate by inheritance, to the threshingfloor, and began to separate the chaff and the stubble from the wheat.
Well now, as with all real estate, just because you build on a piece of property does not make it yours. In Israel there was no squatters rights. There was no adverse possession laws. Each year of jubilee it came back home. And whoever the heir of David's throne was, that was HIS REAL ESTATE. Jesus Messiah could march right up to the Temple, boldly walk past the marble and fine polished stone, and enter into the place of worship. He could judge everyone there. He could observe how they were using his real estate. He could make a claim upon it or not make a claim upon it but it was still his. There were some things he liked and some things he didn't like. When he saw the Pharisees and the Saducees had permitted the Temple to become a habitation of all manner of fowl birds, who gathered there either to be seen or to make some money, he had enough. He fashioned a whip and went to work:
"And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves" (Mat 21:13).
Now this verse is a quote from Jeremiah 7:11 and in that text these are called "robbers" whereas in the Matthew and other New Testament text translated into Greek it is "thieves." I point this out only because of a unique and odd finding when we check the Hebrew word for "robbers"--"periyts--pronounced "per-eets (Strongs 6530)" and is for all practical purposes the very same as "PIRATE." Now a "pirate" is a person who steals from someone their possession and appropriates the ownership unto themselves for their own private purposes. When Jesus called these Temple Merchants and the Temple staff making money on these flea-market booths "thieves and or robbers" he was calling them "pirates" who were making use of the House of God and his real estate for their own private purposes. Now look Mr. & Mrs Chaff, Mr. & Mrs. Stubble and all of you Kabbalistic Talmudist, you are "pirates" and when the owner comes he is going to purge his floor and get rid of you. He is going to burn you up with unquenchable fire. Do not say to yourselves we have Abraham to our father, or that you have some protection in Abraham and some land grant. YOU DO NOT OWN THAT THRESHINGFLOOR! Get off of it hear? Look Mr. & Mrs. Chaff, Mr. & Mrs. Stubble, both of you get off of the heir's real estate. Do not erect your abomination of desolations upon that threshingfloor because all that you build is coming down. Do not forget 70AD! Do not think Jesus Messiah has forgotten what was done against him and James the Just on that piece of real estate. You said among yourselves: THIS IS THE HEIR, LET US KILL HIM AND SEIZE (STEAL) HIS INHERITANCE (Mat 21:38). I warn you from God, he will miserably destroy the murderers and BURN UP THEIR CITY!
Would to God you had a Prophet among you who would declare these things unto you and turn you from your wickedness. And mark well, God will yet send unto you two Prophets, see that ye do them no harm and hear their voices. Do not mistake them as mere men, as just some antisemites, or some radical Messianic believing idiots. If you do not receive them as the messengers of God, Jerusalem will be judged, many will die, the third temple you will build will be destroyed, and blood will run to the horses bridle. A fire will come forth and the chaff and the stubble will be burned. There will be no escape. The false messiah and the false prophet that shall come, whom ye will receive, and whose miracles and calling fire down from heaven ye will praise, shall be your last wickedness. Babylon, Babylon, Confusion, Confusion, Confusion the Great, your day has arrived. The owner has come, and he will return in flaming fire taking vengeance upon them that know not God and who obey not the Gospel of Jesus Messiah. He is coming Mr. & Mrs. Chaff, Mr. & Mrs. Stubble to burn you with unquenchable fire.
But he will gather the wheat unto his garner!
Now the fan was a device used to stir the air and create turbulence in the presence of the chaff, stubble, and the wheat. The turbulence of the air would cause the chaff which was light in weight and had no substance to be blown away. The stubble is usually removed by force and carried from thence. The whole process was a cleansing, a separation, and that which was to be rejected cast aside and burned, while the wheat was gathered and placed in a secure and safe place, in the possession of the garner.
The chaff always has no substance although it may have existence. It is worthless. It may put on religious clothes, talk religious, speak Hebrew, wear spit curls, masquerade as a Rabbi, claim to know mysteries hidden with alphabet soup, and even have a parade with a flag, a Torah, and a Bible-Code book, but it (the chaff) shall be burned.
The mission of Jesus the Messiah was to redeem Israel and bring peace. And in the end when transgressors are come to a full, when the false messiah has come, when all hail this as a miracle of restoration from God, the true elect will not be deceived. The wheat will not join the chaff or the stubble. Actually, just prior to the charing of the chaff the call will go forth: "come out of her my people that ye be not partakers of her sins or her plagues. The chaff is on God's schedule to be burned just as sure as screaming follows with eternal hell.
Come ye Gentiles, join with the remnant, convert, become "Jews by choice" ye who are called to be a people for Messiah's name sake. Believe upon Jesus as the Messiah come in the flesh. By grace through faith you are invited into the Kingdom by repentance and your mikvah baptism for the remission of sins. Receive the seal and the gift of the Holy Spirit. Be joined to the true Israel of God. Where the branches were cut out because of unbelief, in the same place you may be grafted in and partake of the fatness (blessings) of the root. Come ye Gentiles, rejoice before the Saviour in the joy of the Messianic Alijeh dance. Come, ye that are in the highways, the hedges, that the Messiah's house may be full when he comes. Forsake your paganism, your man-made traditions, your religious heresies, and come into the true Israel of God. You will find the door into Messiah's Kingdom at Acts 2:38.
Are you ready? Do you feel Messiah's call to the holy alijeh? Then act quickly!
For he will come again and every eye shall see him, even those who pierced him, and he shall burn up the chaff. Then, shall he send his angels to gather the wheat.
In the Love of Messiah,
May the olive tree flourish, may the Gentiles trust in his name, may Israel be saved, may Jerusalem receive her King!Pastor G. Reckart
