Rightly Dividing Larry T. Smith
Documenting His Backsliding Into Catholic Apostasy

The following written by Pastor G. Reckart

This is not about egos, it is not about who said what first, nor about personalities.  It is about Truth, precious Truth, saving Truth, and salvation!  It is not about being mean-spirited or hateful, it is about a man who was in the Truth and who backslid into one of the most hideous heresies the Catholic Church ever promoted. It is claimed by some jackals that if you stand for the Truth and identify the name of the man promoting heresy that you are not being objective.  What?  If a man sends out 12,000 books with his name on it, he has put himself under the microscope of criticism by his own choice.  When the rebuttals come he cannot then cry he is being mistreated.

If you are building an organization and standing for Truth offends the leadership and  also the rank and file, then all I can say is, you are "not" representing the Church of Jesus Christ!  Smith sent out 12,000 copies of his heretical Catholic book on amillennialism.  These hit mail boxes unannounced an uninvited.  What you are about to read is the documentation of how Larry Smith backslid and fell into Catholic heresy.  Part of this is a rebuttal of his heresies and setting the record straight.  If you have a comment or question please feel free to write <acts0412@jesus-messiah.com>.

Pastor Larry Smith made his entry into the wide domain of Pentecostalism with his home Bible study "Rightly Dividing The Word."  He is a licensed minister with the United Pentecostal Church International (do not blame this organization for his present heresies).  The Pentecostal Publishing House distributed his Bible study.  He currently pastor's a church in El Campo, Texas.

I first heard of Pastor Smith from Evangelist Donald Lance in 1994.  The same year, a friend of mine, Pastor K. Kirkland from Valdez, Alaska was in Houston on job related training.  We discussed Pastor Smith and his possibility of acceptance of the fulness of the Post Tribulation/Israel of God message the two of us shared.  Evangelist Lance had told us he had already helped Pastor Smith come to some of the knowledge of the Post Tribulation rapture.  At this time, Pastor Smith had little concern about the time of the rapture and he knew absolutely nothing about the Israel of God message.  He was spending nearly all of his time consumed with his "Eagle Ministry" and "Absolute Proofs Of An Endtime Revival." Pastor Kirkland visited him and was instrumental in sowing some seeds about the true interpretation of Mystery Babylon and the Israel of God.  Pastor Kirkland will report that when he first met Pastor Smith in 1995 he had no clue about the true revelation of Bible prophecy.

Brother Kirkland played an important role in transferring to Pastor Smith several prophecy interpretations and directing him to contact me. Pastor Smith called me after that visit and we spoke on the telephone nearly all day for three days.  On many occasions I would ask him what he knew about this or that and he was scripturally and prophetically dumb on many important subjects (Everlasting Covenant; Post-Tribulation rapture; Israel of God; Daniel's 70th week; 77th Generation; Identity of Mystery Babylon; Identity of the great whore; The satanic mysticism of the Kabbalah; the antichrist spirit in the Babylonian Talmud; The Church is the Kingdom now; The genealogy of Jesus as the seed of David and the cursed seedline of Joseph; and the falsehood of dispensational "restoration of Israel)."  We spent several hours together on the chronology and dates of events from the Old Testament beginning with Abraham to the death of Jesus.  He knew absolutely NOTHING about the truths in all these teachings. He was confused and used fancy spiritualizing of text he really knew nothing about. When he could not make literal sense of a text he was quick on the gun to spiritualize, create a metaphor, an analogy, or some mystical-gnostic interpretation. He had no real truth in relationship to the true deep things of God. He was a dispensationalist in interpretation with a Post-Trib belief in the rapture.  He was the typical Jesus name preacher who gets a text and ends up preaching on Jesus name baptism or one God.  He was indeed seeking but he did not know what. Anyone who listens to his tapes before 1994 will notice his mastery at spiritualizing.  Eventually, not being spiritually self-managed, he would go to the papacy and seek revelations on amillennialism from Josephus, Clement of Alexandria, St. Augustine, John Bray, and other modern commentators of that heresy.  I do not know of a single truth Pastor Kirkland and I transferred to him that he has not perverted.

Pastor Smith is preaching the heresy of the "Kingdom Now" or the doctrine of the "1,000 years millennial" now! This same doctrine is called "reconstruction or dominion theology" wherein it is believed the world will get better and better as Christians take over and end up with the restitution of all things. This is not to be confused with the true doctrine that the Church is the Kingdom now, and the belief in a future 1,000 year millennial. This latter doctrine agrees with what Apostolics typically teach.  Apostolics as a rule have never taught the "Kingdom Now" doctrine that we are in a spiritualized millennial right now taking dominion over the world with reconstruction of the nations into a final utopia. The UPCI has a responsibility to straighten out Larry T. Smith, report his heresies for what they are, and take a stand including withdrawing his credentials.

When I met Pastor Smith in person, his Eagle Ministry revival was floundering (going no where although he was attracting several to his ministry with false visions and revelations).  When Pastor Kirkland and I shared with him some prophetic and scriptural light, these sparked in him a new awakening. We spoke several hours over the next month talking nearly every day.  I had spoken to him about the 49th generation in Matthew's Gospel and about the 77th generation in Luke's Gospel, both of which he had never heard. My telephone bill was over $300 which I was happy to pay to bring New Covenant Post-Trib truth to him.  I went from Genesis to Revelations in chronological order and taught him nearly 60% of all the prophetic interpretations that he now claims he got from God (20% came from Pastor Kirkland and Brother Lance, and the last 20% came from his papacy buddies). You will never hear him mention the names Reckart, Kirkland, or Lance in his public tantrums.  He came close in his statement:

"I told you, I sat down with a man who studied this stuff, he's an Apostolic man, that knows more, that forgot more than I'll ever know about this when it comes to chronology.  We studied for three days, we went through this thing, from ah, with the promise of Abraham to the death of Jesus..." (2002 Conference, message--Controversies of the time text of the book of Revelation)."

Why will he not admit who the men were who taught him the many truths that he has now perverted? He does not do so because it would deflate his ego and reveal he is not the smart or intelligent man he makes himself out to be. His looming over the congregation as a man who hears from God every day, might mean he has not heard directly from God in years (since at least 1995)! If he has, God would not have sent him off into the papacy heresy of amillennialism. To mention Pastor Kirkland or I would be honorable by any standard.  He could quit lying and claiming he got it all from God.  He will never tell those he is now deceiving that all of his alleged revelations, except his gnostic spiritualizing and the papacy amillennial heresy, came from Pastor Kirkland and I.  Larry Smith is a plagiarist, a liar, a perverter, a thief, and a distorter. He is a false teacher deceiving others having deceived himself.  He has joined the Catholic Church and St. Augustine in accepting their amillennial heresy.  He tells folks he got his amillennial revelations from God when they come straight from Rome and her monks, priests, and Protestant followers.  Let's rightly divide Pastor Smith between his Jesus name doctrines and his Catholic heresies!  Will we allow him to spread his Catholic heresy and deceive Jesus name people? We would be negligent if we did so!

I participated in a debate with the Church of Christ in Portland, Texas and afterward visited Pastor Smith's Church. He was excited there was coming a special revival to the Pentecostal Church and it would be accomplished by a special "Eagle Ministry." He spiritualized from the living creature in Ezekiel that had the face of a man, face of an ox, face of an eagle, and face of a lion.  When I first heard his alleged revelation and what the eagle face represented, I marveled at the extreme gnostic mysticism in his spiritualizings. I mentioned this later to Pastor Kirkland. Mysticism goes beyond Bible interpretation and begins placing private interpretations on symbols that have no scriptural basis (more about this later). Pastor Smith was a master at his new Pentecostal-mysticism he was then mailing out in his tape series.  I had spoken to him much of a Friday afternoon and nearly 10 hours on Saturday about the 49th and 77th generations.  When I arrived at his church the following Sunday, a week later, I was surprised to learn that Pastor Smith had occupied himself that whole week with making an entire new 10-tape series he entitled "The 49th Generation."  He was proud of himself.  He had put into these tapes everything I had taught him the previous week when I spent three days and many more hours later on the telephone with him. I marveled that he was so quick to get these tapes together and already had several albums ready to ship out to those he believed would pay him the $50 or so he was asking.  The Spirit forbid me to speak on prophecy matters when I came to his Church.  So I generalized touching several things. On this night I got a glimpse of Pastor Smith for the man he later revealed himself to be, ...an opportunist, a plagiarist, and a distorter of truth.

I noticed something odd, not one time in all these 10 tapes did he mention the names Gary Reckart or Kenneth Kirkland. He lied over and over that God had given him these revelations. He would refer to us as the man in Florida or the man in Alaska.  While we were disappointed in his obvious plagerism, both Pastor Kirkland and I valued his possible worth in the future to the spread of the truth.  So we tolerated his one-man parade to reach the Jesus Name people before Pastor Kirkland and I could hold Prophecy meetings across America and get the truth out. Pastor Smith knew our limitations and also our plans for prophecy meetings across the nation.  At first he desired to work with us.  And for nearly two years he did share our prophecy conferences as a speaker on those things we taught him. We should have obeyed our first suspicions in the Spirit and cut him loose. We saw in him a lose cannon and a heady highminded spirit.  He was not interested in really working with us as much as he was to learn all that he could steal from us and get it packaged in a new tape series to sell.  The game was money and he would use his new-found knowledge to fatten his bank account and to raise even more thousands to publish his amillennialism books. I prophesied to Pastor Kirkland in 1996 at our Nashville Conference that Larry Smith was going off into heresy and would become our enemies and pervert the truth. This materialized it was this year we disfellowshipped him for teaching the amillennial heresy.  Knowing what we do now, we regret we did not disfellowship earlier when we saw his scheme to make money selling tapes and his egoism of making himself famous.  Pastor Smith has proven to be a dead fly in the ointment of the New Covenant Message.  He causeth it to stink!  Yes, he has found men to boost his errors with their preaching, but he shall fall and his heresies will not stand.  God will raise up a new generation who will not be deceived by these false doctrines.

Pastor Smith is very good at throwing together a hodge-podge of impressive statements, spitting them out like a machine gun, and stirring up his Pentecostal audience in praise in response to his slick false teachings. While he has mesmerized many among the hungry and unlearned, I confess I was not impressed: not then, not later, and not today. I saw him as a man seeking for his time of fame and if possible fortune, in selling a lot of tapes.  He has somewhat made himself famous mixing truth with his amillennial heresy and his gnostic spiritualizings.  His tape series "Proof of An Endtime Revival" has not been his money stream and I doubt he advertises it any more.  It is not listed on his web-site so we feel confident this alleged revelation was scraped by God and the Eagle Ministry revival was canceled.  Or is this proof that Pastor Smith had manufactured this whole revival out of his own spirit and God had nothing to do with it from the beginning?  Especially since he believes the Church was raptured out in 70AD after his Catholic post-trib rapture.  If the Church was raptured out in 70AD how can there be an "ENDTIME REVIVAL OF THE CHURCH" brought about by his Eagle Ministry?

During my 1995 visit at his Church, he told me of countless visions and prophecies where eagles were seen flying and perching on his Church.  The thing that I picked up on right away was his desire for attention and recognition.  He desired to make a greater name for himself, much more then his Bible study was giving him.  He told me the UPC sales of this soul winning tool had netted him over $250,000.00.  He beamed with pride that he had financially done so well.  I am convinced that Pastor Larry Smith is about money and golf courses, where swinging his clubs he can get new revelations.  I am convinced he has gone off into heresy because he wanted fame and needed a doctrine to bring it to him.  He was very slick in his plagerism.  He made himself very friendly while all the time he was stealing from Pastor Kirkland and I years of our research.

How did Larry Smith go into heresy?  He got a pamphlet from Baptist preacher John Bray on the post-trib rapture.  The contents led him to another of Bray's writings on amillennialism.  He took this heresy and began immediately to mix it with the revelations Pastor Kirkland and I shared with him.  His gnostic spiritualizings would now come home to roost and cause him to damn his soul. When he brought out some of this heresy in our Nashville Conference in 1996 Pastor Kirkland and I took our stand.  It was at this time he turned upon us and became our enemy and has remained such since.  This came out in 1997 when we were scheduled to hold a conference at Pastor Kelly Wilson's Church in Decatur, Illinois.  We did not include Smith having disfellowshiped him. Smith contacted Pastor Wilson who is UPCI, went there ahead of us, spread his amillennial heresy, and Pastor Wilson canceled our meeting. From that time till today, Pastor Smith has been our enemy spreading false doctrine where ever he can find an open mail box or pulpit.  Michael Blume of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia "had" joined with him in his heresies. On August 10, 2002 I believed Blume to have repented of his error of the millennial being the Church age. I WAS DECEIVED BY BLUME. Blume is in the Catholic doctrine of the amillennial to the degree that he interprets prophecy and scripture just like the papacy. Blume is trying to find ways to keep his UPC license by not denying a literal 1,000 years of reign of Messiah upon the earth. I was snookered by his sligh of hands. I now know he has not repented!
Smith has drawn many others into his web of demonic spiritualizing. He now teaches the Catholic heresy of amillennialism with great excitement mixing it with many Jesus name truths.

Pastor Smith previously believed in a future tribulation and a post-tribulation coming of the Lord.  He believed the first resurrection would take place when Jesus returned.  He believed the Church today was the extension of the first Church in faith, doctrine, and practices. He believed the Acts 2:38 plan of salvation given to Jews and Gentiles was the same plan of salvation for today.  He believed the second coming of Jesus and resurrection mentioned in 1Cor. 15:22 and 1Thes 4:15 was still future.  What did his receiving the Catholic doctrine of ammillenialism do to him?  What do the Catholics believe?

They believe the Church as the Apostles knew it ended and the first resurrection of Revelation 20:5-6, 1Cor 15:22, and 1Thes 4:15 took place in 70AD right after Titus destroyed Jerusalem.  They believe all of Revelation from chapter 1-20 was completed by 70AD.  They do not believe in a future great tribulation.  They believe the great tribulation is past, having concluded in 70AD.  That is why all amillennialist are called "Past-Tribs."  The Catholic Church believes the Church ended in 70AD at the rapture of the then New Testament Saints.  They teach that with the Church gone, the world enters into a new time called the Kingdom or reconstruction when all the world will eventually become good.  The Catholic Church believes that it and it alone has the authority of this reconstruction Kingdom.  They teach that the antichrist was Nero and thus divert attention of this identity from Rome and the Pope and from a future Jew who would come claiming to be the son of David and Messiah heir.  They teach they are the manchild of Revelation 12 who was to rule the world with the rod of iron.  It was with this last claim the Catholic Church felt its responsibility to spread Catholicism with the sword and any other means possible to set the Kingdom up all over the world.  This was the premise for the cruelty the Catholic Church practiced toward non-catholics and Protestants in putting them to death.  They saw all who was against Rome as enemies of the manchild.  The Catholic Church believed in what is now known as the Preterist and Partial-Preterist doctrines.  They believe Jesus came in judgment in 70AD and he will come again the last time just before the world is destroyed at the end of the present Kingdom age.  They do not believe there is a future antichrist.  They believe the seals, trumpets, and vials and the judgments therein are all past, occurring in the three and one half years before the destruction of Jerusalem in 70AD. They do not believe there is a future millennial of 1,000 years.  They do not believe the devil will be bound a real 1,000 years, they believe he is bound right now and cannot deceive the nations.  They must teach that the antichrist (beast) and false prophet are right now in the lake of fire, cast there "alive."  The Catholic Church believes the 1,000 years is not a literal 1,000 years but the number represents rather just a long period of time.  They believe the 1,000 years began in 70AD right after the great tribulation in which Jerusalem was destroyed.  They believe the two witnesses are already past with some like Pastor Smith who believe these are not real men but rather just a spiritual witness of salvation that was dead in the streets of Jerusalem from 66 1/2 AD to 70AD. Pastor Larry Smith is in agreement with the papacy on nearly all of the above beliefs.

Pastor Smith has fallen into these Catholic heresies.  He says he will repent if he is wrong, but has refused to repent.  He grows bolder and more resolute in his falsehoods as the days go by. His goal now is to spread his heresies among UPCI and other Jesus name churches and get the fame and attention he has sought since 1996.  He views himself as a saviour of the Jesus name people.  He believes he is sent by God to convert them to St. Augustine's Catholic amillennialism doctrine.  I believe to be far from Rome is to be near God, Pastor Smith believes to be near Rome is to be nearer to God! Let's rightly divide Pastor Larry Smith before we are deceived by his newest heresies of "Rightly Dividing The Word Of Prophecy." He is a reproach upon the Post-Tribulation Apostolic Ministers of our time.  He is a reproach upon those who believe the Church is the true Israel of God.  He is a reproach upon those who believe the Church is the Kingdom now but who refuse to believe in the amillennial heresy.  He is a reproach upon those who believe in the New Covenant, he now believing the New Covenant ended in 70AD.  When someone hears his trash and gets turned off because of his kabbalistic mysticism and perverting the Truth, this will cause them to reject the true Post-Trib message and the true doctrines of the New Covenant.  This man has caused more damage to the Post-Tribulation truth and the Acts 2:38 message then any other man in the past 75 years.  He will turn out to be worse then William Branham.  His heresies will become worse then the serpent seed doctrine.  He may gain a following, but he will lead them into the ditch as do all blind guides.  If I was a member of his Church I would seek out others who do not want to be lost and call the district overseer and ask for another Church in El Campo.  When Smith's money runs out and the candle of his fame burns low, he will end up a basket case, rightfully rejected by every Jesus Name Minister and Church of our hour.

He defends St. Augustine's Preterist heresies with mockery of those who refuse to accept that everything in the book of Revelation is symbolic.  He feels he alone with the help of Philip Mauro has the special keys to uncode the symbols and reinterpret all the revelations of John from an amillennial view. I confess he does a good job of presenting Rome's arguments for amillennialism.  He is an entertaining speaker.  He rattles on and on with his vain jangling to the point of total deception of those who give him their ears. It would be difficult to chase down every false statement he makes.  It would take a very large book to cover them all.  There is really no need in doing this.  All we need to ask ourselves is if the Church founded upon the Apostles was raptured in 70AD, and if it was what is the plan of salvation today?  We could ask if all who were saved made that rapture and all who missed it were lost, then who ordained those that preach afterward and by what authority is their message the new plan of salvation? We can ask if it is true the New Covenant ceased in 70AD and what we now have is the angelic preaching of a new "everlasting gospel?"  We need to ask what is the plan of salvation for this new everlasting gospel if Acts 2:38 ceased in 70AD.  And if Acts 2:38 did not cease in 70AD then give us the proof it was to survive 70AD and the end of the Kingdom which amillennialst claimed took place at that time (see Matt 24:14 which they say is already fulfilled and 1Cor 15:24 which they say was also fulfilled in 70AD). We need to ask ourselves if the Scriptures back up his Catholic theory that the first resurrection already took place in 70AD and all that remains is the end of the world (or is this the same false doctrine Paul fought in 2Tim 2:16-18)?  We could ask ourselves that if the Church is gone, and the whole of the New Testament was for the purpose of preparing the early church for the second coming in 70AD, what good is our Bible to us if all of it was already fulfilled in 70AD and all that remains is the end of the world?  If all the Bible is fulfilled except for part of Revelation 20, all of 21, and all of 22, THEN WE DO NOT EVEN HAVE A VALID BIBLE, IT BEING NEARLY FULFILLED AND ITS PURPOSE FINISHED.  ALL WE COULD GET FROM IT IS HISTORY POINTING 2,000 YEARS BACK TO WHAT WAS BEFORE 70AD.

Can we "rightly divide" Larry T. Smith from the Catholic Church and the true doctrine of the Apostles?  Yes!  Larry T. Smith is not a true Jesus Name Apostolic.  He holds our faith and preaches at the same time the doctrines of it expired in 70AD.  He preaches the Church the Apostles were a part of ended in 70AD and forced to say we are not a part of that Church.  He is forced to teach two plans of salvation, one before 70AD and one after 70AD.  Pastor Smith and his Catholic heresies leave us with Gospels and Epistles whose purpose have already been fulfilled and completed. Anything we could preach out of them to encourage faith until the second coming of Jesus would be false, since according to Pastor Smith these books were written to prepare the Jews and Gentiles to make the 70AD rapture or resurrection.  He is forced to preach we have no New Covenant today it ended in 70AD.  He is forced to preach we have no blood atonement until Jesus comes, it ending when Jesus came off his throne of mercy to bring judgment and for the rapture of the saints in 70AD.  There is no need to celebrate the Lord's Passover (Communion or Super "Until He Come" (1Cor. 11:26), since he already came in 70AD and ended any need to take Communion or the Lord's Passover EVER AGAIN!  The purpose of Calvary and the shed blood was to bring us into the atonement and election and preserve us unto the second coming of Jesus.  Since Jesus already came in 70AD for the elect we do not have atonement by the blood of Jesus, and how then can we be the elect if this group are already in heaven right now.  Where is the text that an after rapture group can somehow be the elect also and joined with the prior elect who went up in 70AD? Our Acts 2:38 plan of salvation must be denied by Pastor Smith as the plan of salvation for today, since it was for the Church he claims was raptured in 70AD.

We could deal with many of Pastor Smith's lies, gnosticism, numerology, errors, falsehoods, spiritualizations, and plagerism, but you would soon become bored.  If there is a need to expressly deal with a particular subject within his heresies, we will take that up at a later date.

At the moment let's consider one of Pastor Smith's machine-gun mystical babblings:

"1,000 is the number of unending perfection; that's why you in the Revelation you get the multiples of 12,000.  Everything you read in that temple is 12 X 12,000; 144 cubit in the wall. Where do you get 144? Ah, you get this because he said 12 X 12 is ah 144.  What, 7 is the number of perfection. That's why he tells about how many times shall I forgive Lord, 7 times, God's number of perfection?  He said no! You gotta give (sic) 70 X 7.  Where do you get 70? 7 X 10, 10 is unending perfection. 7 X 70 is unending perfection, that's 490 years.  490 years Daniel and perfect forgiveness will come to all nations" (2002 Conference, message--Controversies of the time text of the book of Revelation).

Where did Smith get all this ba-lon-na?  Is there any Scriptural authority for this numerology and the interpretations of meanings of numbers?  Has Smith gotten hold of one of those lottery dream books that gives numerical meanings to dreams?  Or did he as I suspect go get this garbage from Jewish Kabbalism numerology and is trying to inject it into his perverted teachings?  Who said 1,000 was the number of unending perfection; who said 7 was the number of perfection; who said 10 is unending perfection; who said 490 was the number of perfect forgiveness?  Where is this numerology found in the Word of God?  Numerology and meanings thereof are mysticism. Anytime a number is used in the Scriptures we are to consider them to have the value assigned and nothing more! Will Smith tell us where he got this numerology?

How long will it take before he and his brood copies the Catholic Church and begin teaching they are raising up the manchild or birthing a manchild, to finalize the last ministry to reach the world.  How long before they copy this falsehood of the papacy for their movement and call themselves the manchild?  Did Ron Turner already preach this in disguise at their 2002 conference?

Pastor Smith knows me well enough that I will not long endure his falsehoods without a response.  The time has come to stand up against his heresies in the public.  Please forgive my boldness.  Had he not sent out his heresy to pollute the living waters I would not give him notice.  Perhaps with my standing up others will take courage and do the same.  Now some ask why bother with him, ignore him, or cast this into the lap of Jesus and let him alone?  Apostolics have never ducked their head or turned away from falsehood.  They have never been shy to declare the full counsel of God.  There are no wimps among those who fight the devil and stand in the gap and make up the hedge.  When a false teacher comes among us he is a wolf.  When he comes after the flock the shepherd's staff gets after him.  We have rejected spiritual communion, serpent seed, school of the prophets (twinities), Yahwist, Law-keepers, liberal standards, television, and more evils that have swept through the ranks.  Why should we treat Larry Smith's amillennial heresy with any less fortitude or boldness?

Anyone who reads the above knows Smith is not exegeting Scripture, he is exaggerating them in the foolishness of his imagination.  This is a perfect example of what the Apostle meant when he said of "no private interpretation."

Smith spits this numerology junk out, then jumps over on a Jesus name subject of people receiving the Holy Ghost and those listening forget all the gobblygook he just said, and zero in on his mentioning the Holy Ghost.  They then receive his garbage thinking they are believing something anointed because he mentioned Acts 2:38, speaking in tongues, and receiving the Holy Ghost.  Such slippery deception is unmatched in our generation by any other false prophet.

Now Smith claims he had all his prophecy knowedge before he met Pastor Kirkland and myself.  I say he has lied yet again.  I have nearly 50 tapes of his preaching that he gave to me in 1995.  I have listened to nearly all of them.  They were made in the years prior to 1995 and our meeting one another. I paid great attention to any statements about prophecy. The remarkable thing is, nothing Pastor Kirkland and I taught him which he claims he already knew ARE ON THOSE TAPES!  Bingo!  None of the prophecy truths we taught him appear in any of his tapes prior to his making his 10-tape series on the 49th Generation.  Smith can boast of his prior knowledge but his tapes show he had none.  He can claim he has spent 10 years studying prophecy and I will say he is a fibber! Members of his church prior to that time do not recall him ever preaching tht much on prophecy or on many of the subjects he now has made the center of his ministry.  What is the point here?  It is this, Smith claims he got little or nothing from Pastor Kirkland and I, especially from me and I should not be attacking him as a thief, a distorter, and a plagarist.  The tapes prove me right.  Larry T. Smith has perverted the Apostles Doctrine and those things Pastor Kirkland, Evangelist Lance, and myself shared with him.  That is why I feel I must speak up.  I do not want his heresies to cause a stink on the true post-tribulation rapture doctrine, upon the true Israel of God truth, or upon the New Covenant I embrace with all of my heart.

How should we "rightly divide" Pastor Larry T. Smith? Actually his false doctrines are dividing him away from fellowship with Apostolic men who know the truth.  What does he have remaining but to convert others to his heresies and build a papacy amillennialist fellowship around that group.  He has said more then once that if the UPCI does not like it they can take his license.  I say, the UPCI would be wise to go right ahead, call him in on the carpet and jerk his license. By rejecting him and not receiving his "Kingdom Now" Catholic doctrines hidden within his ramblings about Jesus name baptism and being filled with the Holy Ghost, the UPCI can say they did the right thing.  Those who know me know I am anti-organizational, but they also know I stand by right, organizations or not!  To rightly divide Pastor Larry T. Smith we must avoid him as a follower of Clement of Alexandria, Origin the gnostic, St. Augustine the neoplatoist, the papacy, and trinitarian John Bray. Any man who allows Larry T. Smith in his pulpit should lose all his members.  I urge every member of any UPCI Church or any other congregation to get up and quit the Pastor or Church who allows this man in their pulpit.

The eagle has crashed.

I will defend Apostolic truth.  Should Pastor Smith or another amillennialist want to debate here are the propositions:

First night:
Amillennialist will affirm all the New Testament is fulfilled except for part of Revelation chapter 20 and all of 21-22, and nothing in Matthew 24 or the book of Revelation from chapters 4-20 is future; and the Church age ended with a rapture and resurrection following the 70AD destruction of Jerusalem.

Pastor Reckart will deny.

Second night:
Pastor Reckart will affirm all the New Testament is not fulfilled and some of Matthew 24 and most of the book of Revelation chapters 4-22 is future; and the Church age did not end with a rapture and resurrection following the 70AD destruction of Jerusalem.

Amillennialist will deny.

Should Larry Smith take up the debate challenge he can add this addendum to the debate propositions:

Pastor Reckart will affirm that Larry Smith believes in a rapture and resurrection in 70AD.

Larry Smith will deny.

Larry Smith says I am lying on him when I accuse him of teaching a rapture and a resurrection in 70AD.  I am willing to debate him on that issue and prove that he must have a rapture and a resurrection to have Matthew 24 fulfilled in 70AD.  All that remains is for Smith to accept the challege.

Where O where is Larry Smith, the great guru of Partial_Preteristism? He has had since 1998 to take up this debate. He has dodged. His puppies have spouted of at the mouth doing their little barking. His puppy Burk barks but won't come off the porch. Why is Larry Smith hiding? Come forth Larry Smith and defend your heresies.

Mike Blume is acting as Smith's apologist. I am sorry to report that Mike Blume has NOT REPENTED of his amillennial Catholic entanglement. He is as much a Catholic amillennialist as St. Augustine ever was! Anyone who follows the spiritualized heresies of Mike Blume or Larry Smith will be lost. Anyone baptized by them, their baptisms are not valid being done by a false prophet. I urge all members of their Churches to find other places of worship and flee for your lives. These men will become more harm to the Apostolic Churches then William Branham ever was! How soon before they spiritualize Calvary and make it of none effect? Ok, there are other jackels who defend Smith and attack me because I stand against heresy: let them stand up and defend preterism. None has since 1998. Real bold men right? They are bold on the keyboard but that shows their character and their integrity.
