According To Smith's Doctrine, Jesus Prophesied ONLY His 70AD Coming In The Gospels

MAT 16:28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom. Smith says this coming was in 70AD
MAT 24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? Smith says this coming was in 70AD
MAT 24:27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Smith says this coming was in 70AD
MAT 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. Smith says this coming was in 70AD
MAT 24:37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Smith says this coming was in 70AD
MAT 24:39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Smith says this coming was in 70AD
MAT 26:64 Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven. Smith says this coming was in 70AD
MAR 13:26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. Smith says this coming was in 70AD
MAR 14:62 And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven. Smith says this coming was in 70AD
LUK 21:27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Smith says this coming was in 70AD
JOH 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. Smith says this coming was in 70AD
JOH 14:28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I. Smith says this coming was in 70AD

According to Larry Smith's false doctrines, there is not a single place in the Gospels where Jesus promised to come again except in the 70AD coming in judgment.  The above text are all the "coming" text in the Gospels. If all these point to a 70AD "coming" then Jesus did not predict another coming.  This false doctrine is the root and basis of the Partial-Preterist heresy.

Larry Smith claims on page 13 of his book: "Jesus said THEY would see Him when He came in the clouds sitting in a place of power."  Josephus, whom Smith loves to quote, makes no mention of anyone seeing Jesus coming in 70AD.  If every eye was to see him as Smith claims, then how did Josephus and many thousands more miss it? Smith has no answer! Josephus would know because he was at Jerusalem the whole time the City was under attack and being taken. If questioned, Smith will confess no one actually saw Jesus coming in the clouds of heaven with great glory. He says on page 17: "This again proves that His coming in the clouds refers to God using another nation's army to execute His judgments on another nation."  According to Larry Smith, the coming of Jesus was really the coming of Titus.

According to Smith, all prophecy is fulfilled in the New Testament except from Revelation 20:10 through the end of the book. He claims these remaining text are either being fulfilled in the church or will occur at the end of the physical earth. This reduces all the New Testament to a history book.  He also teaches that the prophecy of Joel about the last days, including the pouring out of God's Spirit upon sons and daughters, ended in 70AD.

Did Jesus miss the entire New Testament Church after 70AD in all of his teachings? Did Jesus miss the resurrection Paul mentions in 1Cor 15 and 1Thes 4?  Did Paul slip in a resurrection that Jesus did not teach? When will Paul's resurrection take place since according to Smith there is ONLY one remaining and it is at the end of the physical world? When will the first resurrection of Rev 20 take place since it is not the resurrection at the end of the physical world?

In rightly dividing Larry T. Smith, we conclude the man has spiritualized himself down into the garden of nuts.
