The 70 weeks are determined: (Daniel 9:24).
Here is the break down:
"Know and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times."

69 Weeks unto the coming or arrival of Messiah.
Thus, the time of 69 weeks at its end and the beginning of the 70th Week the Messiah appears.
The Messiah appears on the first day of the 70th week.
When did Jesus appear as the Messiah to Israel?
He appeared at the baptism by John where he was declared by the Prophet to be the Messiah. The 70th week begins with:
1.) The appearance of Jesus as the Messiah (Behold the Lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the world);
2.) The baptism where the Prophet John lays hands upon the Messiah, and by immersing him, declares him to be the one to baptize with the Holy Ghost and fire.
3.) The heavenly voice that said to John and only John: "This is my beloved son" which is the prophetic same as "This is my beloved Messiah."
4.) The next 40 days Jesus enters the desert wilderness and prepares for the establishment of his Kingdom.
5.) The 70th week is now counting and marking off time.
6.) The whole Ministry of Jesus is for three and one half years, which is the first half of the 70th week.
7.) When Jesus is cricified in the middle of the 70th Week, he ends the law, thus ends so far as God is concerned all animal sacrifices forever for sins.
8.) Resurrection morning is the third day over into the last half of the 70th week.
9.) Since the 70 weeks concerns Jews and Israel, the remaining time of the 70 weeks will be used to reach Jews only. No Gentile came into the Church until the 70th week expired. After the 70th week ended, the Gentile revival began to bring in other sheep not of that fold so that there would be one fold and one shepherd.
10.) Thus, there is no gap between the 69th and 70th week. The Law ended in the middle of the 70th week for salvation and redemption. From that time the New Covenant certified and ratified by the shed blood of Jesus has the power of salvation. If the Law, all of the Law did not end on Calvary, then there are two covenants still in force right now. This is false! There is one covenant in force right now, the New Covenant. If we are not in the New Covenant we have no right or business to observe the Lord's Passover (Communion) since it is in honor of his bringing in the New covenant in his blood.
When the 70th week was expired the Gentiles were evangelized and made one with the Israel of God. They were grafted in and became partakers. Ephesians 4 says there is one body, one hope, and one Spirit. Both Jew and Gentile are in this one body.
The doctrine that the Jews are a separate body from the Gentiles is false! The doctrine that the Church is a Gentile bride is false! Remember, the Gentiles were grafted into an existing Jewish Church. By this ingrafting, the Gentiles became joint heirs of the same promises, and fellowcitizens of the true Commonwealth of Israel. According to Paul in Romans 2:28-29 we become born again Jews. We were Gentiles in our first birth, but in our second birth into the body of Christ, which was Jewish, we are new-born Jews of the true Israel. So that we who are in Christ are counted as Abraham's seed and heirs of the promises.
The separation of the 70th week from the 69 prior weeks has the whole Ministry of Jesus in no part of the Law era, since they would have the Law era to temporarily cease at the end of the 69th week and just prior to the baptism of Jesus. This doctrine would teach that the Law had no power or effect from the time of the beginning of the Ministry of Jesus until the Church is raptured and the final 70th week began.
Hope this adds some light on the way true Post-Tribs interpret the 70 weeks.
