It is a lie that endtime eschatology does not have a bearing on one's salvation. That is the lie used to sneak in false doctrines on eschatology.
Yet, about the time and day, Jesus said to take heed that no man deceive you. There must be not only a lot of deceptive doctrines on eschatology in that day, but a lot of false teachers and false prophets attempting to validate the man of sin and the mystery of iniquity. This is a salvation issue. If a person does not know the prophetic interpretations correctly they will accept the antichrist. They will accept the false prophet who does miracles to deceive the world. If a person claims all this is past (Preterist or Partial Preterist), and these things are all future, then people are set up to accept anything in Israel and Jerusalem. This deception sets up the world to accept a Jewish revival and a false messiah who will deceive the nations.
When you say Jesus did not rebuke others, how much of the Bible have you read? When two held back a part of the sale of their property what happened to them. And what of Paul who taught after the second admonition to rebuke? There are plenty of reasons to stand up and call a spade a spade. I was not called to preach sermons to churchettes, but to stand for the Truth. This stand often takes into account wolves in sheep's clothing.
You do not know the many years of hate and bigotry of Preterist against the futurist truth of prophecy. You are unaware of the many lies and distortations of the truth not to mention men's characters. When someone calls me a demon, that gives me the right to openly rebuke them for their heresies.
Now Shelby, you will notice you are not being attacked here. You are free to come and disagree but when you attack, you will get skinned with the sword of Truth. If you come and want to discuss then the sword is laid down. We have emnity only against evil, wolves, and false prophets. You have only to fear if you came to spread more lies and bark about us dealing a good scuffing to the necks of the jackals.
If you have something to offer let us read it. IF you came to challenge us, then post that also. But remember the rule here. You must answer one question for each question you ask. You ask a question we answer. We ask a question and you answer. If it is truth you seek, we can help you find it. If the jackals appear or the wolves, out comes the sword.
