I asked pastor G. Reckart three questions on the 24th of June. I asked him to "Please answer my questions and provide scriptural explanations." Instead, the reply that I get back from Reckart is nothing more than child-like bickering at what he thinks that I believe. ABSOLUTELY NO SCRIPTURE WAS GIVEN BY RECKART TO ANSWER MY QUESTIONS OR REFUTE MY STATEMENTS.
So I wonder...do the people who supposedly want to refute "amillenial heresy" actually know the scriptures that they somehow gain their pre-millenial doctrine from? Or are people on this board who believe this just like the Sadducees of Matthew 22? "You are in error because you do no know the Scriptures or the power of God." (v. 29)
The only way to combat biblical illiteracy is to actually pick the thing (Bible) up and read the words that are on the pages. Oh, and you have to read it with a Berean outlook (Acts 17) as well...otherwise it's pretty much useless.
Get into God's word so that God's word gets into you. If I sound harsh, I believe it's for good reason. Do not go around slandering a belief (amillenialism) when you yourself do not know the scripture to disprove it.
May God please open your hearts, eyes, and ears, so that you may live, see, and hear.
