(Blume Private Revelation That Holiness Standards Are Legalism)

Mike Blume, gadabout and preterist, has grown bolder and bolder against Apostolic holiness traditions which he calls legalism. He has denied several of our doctrines since he swallowed hook, line, and sinker the Catholic doctrine of preterism. I was pointed to one of his youtube videos where he was preaching on the tree of good and evil. His real message was supposed to be about the identity of the spirit of antichrist.
According to a private revelation given only to him and his personal interpretation, holiness standards promoted by Men of God are not only legalism, they embody the very spirit of antichrist as well as represent the fruit on the tree of knowledge of good and evil. He opposes any and all written standards of holiness and articles of faith as legalism and antichrist. He refers to these as "code books and rules." I am not sure how he treats the Ten Commandments, the book of the Law beside the Ark, the subsequent books of the Old Testament, and even the New Testament books? If he believes these written practices of conduct and order are code books and rules from which written holiness standards are taken, and they represent the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, plus contain the satanic spirit of antichrist, this man has become a reprobate. It is not evident as yet where his attack on holiness standards is going, but if we watch his life and that of his wife and congregation it will be manifested.
Now Mike believes the real antichrist has already been here and cast into the lake of fire. He believes the great tribulation is already past. He believes the resurrection of the dead in christ has already occurred. He believes the Lord's Supper factually ended in 70AD although he believes it is ok to hold the observance as a ritual. He believes the church age ended in 70AD and we are now living in the millennial kingdom age. Since there is no real antichrist coming in the future, he has invented a doctrine on a spiritualistic antichrist that is being housed and promoted within Apostolic Churches. He has established for his theory a concocted idea about the tree of knowledge of good and evil and its fruit which Eve and Adam ate. In his creative gnostic mind he has parallelled the tree of knowledge of good and evil with modern Apostolic Churches and the fruit on the tree being equal to our written doctrines and standards of holiness.
Mike claims that when Adam and Eve ate the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil that they learned all about sin. Thus in his theory, the very knowledge of what was sin and what was evil was embodied in the fruit. From this concept that knowledge of sin and evil was in the fruit, he translated this private interpretation into the idea that written holiness standards are now the fruit on the tree. I got it: if written holiness standards are equivalent to the fruit on the tree, then God has forbidden everyone to partake of holiness standards or they will DIE! And, if God forbids all present spiritualistic contact with the tree, then this means God has forbidden fellowship with Apostolic Churches that have a standard of holiness!
The New Private Revelation
1) The tree of knowledge of good and evil is equivalent to modern Apostolic Churches who have written standards of holiness (he calls this legalism);2) The fruit on the tree he calls these written standards (codes and rules which he calls legalism);
3) Apostolic Churches with written rules or codes of conduct have the spirit of antichrist within them;
4) God has shown by the garden of Eden event that when a searcher can discover what is evil and what is good by reading a written code or rule, that this is the devil trying to place the spirit of antichrist in the person.
5) To not fall under condemnation and judgment a person only need remove themselves from partaking of the code books, rules, and written standards of holiness and Apostolic Churches. He cries in bitter rejection some what like Essau after sucking up the bowl of soup and surrendering his birthrigth. Blume has a subtle and tricky way to instruct trinitarians and liberals to reject Apostolic Churches where holiness standards are preached and enforced. Getting them to reject these Apostolic Churches is the same as rejecting the fruit on the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Trinitarians and liberals who already hate us as being filled with demons and the devil now have additional amunition with testimony of one of our own supposed soldiers calling us antichrist and dropping his bomb against legalism to destroy us.
6) There are more obvious questions about Blume's gnostic spiritualizings but this is sufficient to reveal this man has gone and lost his mind.
Blume claims that when he gave up these codes and rules of holiness that he quit judging and condemning others. He cries that he is no longer judgmental and in condemnation of others over holiness issues.
According to Blume, Eve's love for knowledge produced sin and sin produced evil. Now keep in mind it was God who gave the law concerning this tree and its fruit AND IT WAS NOT IN WRITTEN BUT VERBAL FORM. The fruit would have to represent something verbal not something written if Blume's insanity was legitimate. It was God who said they would die the day they ate the fruit. It was not God who said their eyes would be opened and they would know right from wrong or have knowledge of sin by eating (Genesis 3:5). That came from the devil, satan, lucifer, the serpent. God simply said: you will die! Blume comes along and preaches the devil's doctrine now that if a person lives by a holiness standard that is a written code or rule that this is the same as learning about good and evil from these, and this is the same as eating the fruit. He waves his hands about and gestures with his mouth how people are eating the fruit by accepting these written codes and rules that tell them what is good and what is evil. His suggestive idea is to scare people away from holiness standards and from Apostolic Churches that promote holiness with written standards of conduct and order.
Blume comes along and takes up on the devil's enticement to Eve that if she ate she would be wise. This means according to Blume she would know the difference between good and evil by eating. So, in Blume's theory eating the fruit was the same as knowing good and evil just as the devil promised. Blume takes the devil's doctrine and fashions a new theory about antichrist.

"But we have to get ourselves a knowledge of good and evil and get a code book and get rules and tell people don't do this and don't do that and teach them they can't hear from God themselves; they gotta have someone dictate to them with self deification in their spirit that is nothing more then the spirit of antichrist."
What is he saying that the conference people were shouting amen about?
He is outright attacking holiness standards and other articles of faith that are printed and distributed to church members. He is claiming that the men who are writing these standards and publishing them have the spirit of antichrist in them as well as the very contents being antichrist because it contains the knowledge of good and evil.
Wow!
Wait a minute: Blume claims Nero was the antichrist, or he at least did (he flip flops a lot): now he is saying that the men of God who write and publish holiness standards and articles of faith that teach don't do this or its ok to do that, have the spirit of Nero in them. But Mike, Nero wrote codes and rules of Godliness and holiness? Nero somehow made others sin because he published information on what was right and what was wrong and what was sin? I think you have been smoking something, drinking some kool-aid, or sniffing some glue. Where do you get this kind of bizzare stuff?
Mike claims that men of God such as myself, who publish holiness standards, are making themselves God ("self deification"). He claims we are really antichrist and full of the devil. He claims that these rules or codes of holiness are evil because people learn the knowledge of good and evil through them and this is of the devil. He claims that having a booklet or tract or church policy book that outlines standards and holiness are the same as the fruit on the tree which Eve and Adam ate. He suggest if a person lives by written standards of holiness in an Apostolic Church that this will anger God and they will die! He attacks holiness preaching with great disgust and a satirical form of mockery calling it legalism with all the hatred of holiness standards within him. Here is another sound byte of Mike Blume:
"Listen, I can't stress this enough! If there is more of an emphasis on this is evil and that is good and don't do this and do that; that is the knowledge of good and evil: couldn't be more plain."
Blume get a hold of yourself man! Stop this madness! You have totally perverted the whole account of the tree of knowledge and also grossly spiritualized the fruit into a devilish nightmare. Stop this stupidity. If you want your wife to wear pants and so forth just allow her to do it. Man, don't you see that a written code is nothing more then a verbal one in writing. If you verbally tell your wife she cannot wear pants it is no different if it is in writing. But you have those who put in writing what you make a knowledge of verbally as being antichrist while you are made out to be Michael (Blume) the archangel. Come on archangel, what is the difference in something written and something verbal when it is said: "this is evil and that is good and don't do this and do that"?
I openly oppose Brother Blume and his entire theory that the spirit of antichrist is in holiness preachers who proclaim "this is evil, and that is good and don't do this and do that". In fact, I challenge the archangel to debate this in a public debate. I want to take the wings off of this self-made prophet who opposes Apostolic holiness standards. I will prove that Mike Blume has gone nuts. He is spiritualizing to the point he is preaching the devil's promise to Eve. Now how could a man who claims to be so wise preach the devil's message and no one catch it but me? Big know-it-all Larry Smith sucked it all up like it was soup from the throne. Other convention attendees were so deceived they could not but give Blume hardy grips and pats on the back what a great man of God he was with all these private interpretations direct to him from heaven.
I pray for this Brother that he will repent of his hatred against holiness preachers. Brother Blume I ain't changing hear? I will continue publishing holiness standards that tell others what they can and cannot do as children of God. I will continue to use the entire written contents of the Bible to prove our doctrine on holiness standards is valid and correct. I will continue publishing articles of faith that tell others what we believe and that they should believe the same things.|
Code book, rules?Yep, that is what my Bible is all about.
I guess Blume will soon be preaching that having a Bible and it being a code book is antichrist. At least I expect him to go this far if he is consistent with his private revelation. How long will it take before he flops in this direction. Maybe Larry Smith can help him along in this area of false doctrines since he believes it.
